Vigilance in Voting Is Vital for 2020 Elections [Video]

5864824829_024f19e41e_hThe 2020 national elections in the United States are less than 2 months away. Americans are being flooded with all manner of political ads filled with effusive praise for their candidate and crushing criticism for the opponents.

We are now witness to a media war between Leftists and everyone else which is aimed at the destruction of any view but their own. The two political positions for the purpose of the 2020 elections will be labeled either ‘pro-Trump’ or ‘anti-Trump,’ and you and I and everyone else will be included as part of one camp or the other.

Americans will need to be extremely discerning amid the inevitable flood of real and phony ‘information’ that will be presented. The Leftmedia/MSM will, of course, be in the ‘anti-Trump’ camp as they have been since before President Trump won the election.

The most critical factor in the upcoming vote is the need to be vigilant in both voting and holding officials accountable to diligently do their constitutional duty as they receive and tabulate the results.

Vigilance Against Voter Fraud

7618119536_08163daea0_wPerhaps the most ballyhooed proposal from the Leftist Dems is that mail-in voting should be universal. To be clear, this is not the same as straight absentee voting.

Absentee voting requires that a person request a ballot from the state and give reasons for not voting in person. The ballot is also, in most states, at least verified by signature check.

Universal mail-in voting is a completely different animal. Instead of a particular, identifiable person requesting a ballot, everyone on a states’ voter rolls, updated or not, is sent an actual ballot which they fill out and put into the mail.

The potential for fraud is almost unlimited in this scenario. We have already witnessed this on far smaller scales in various primary elections around the nation.

A recent article in the Wall Street Journal paints a discouraging picture for the election should mail-in voting become predominant in 2020. The article titled “Mail-in Voting could deliver Chaos,” makes some very salient points about why this is a disaster in the making.

Their synopsis under the headline puts it is stark and scary terms.

Delays will play havoc with Federal Electoral College deadlines. Entire states could be disenfranchised.

The piece goes into some detail about certain dates by which votes have to be submitted and counted, as well as what determines the eligibility of a mail-in ballot. For example, all mail-in votes must be postmarked on or before November 3, 2020, to be counted as valid.

If, for example, boxes of ballots are discovered the next day but they lack a postmark, they would likely not be valid and thus could not be counted. Even in the best of cases disputes over this could easily arise and the matter sent to the courts and/or the state legislatures, thus delaying a final count until several weeks later.

However, the delay cannot linger because there are two other important dates that loom in December concerning the Electoral College vote and are set by law. The Electors must meet by December 14 to cast their votes and officially elect the new President.

If there arise any disputes because of delays in vote counting, the states whose Electors are not settled must resolve those disputes and select their electors by December 8, 2020, again, according to Federal law. Any state that cannot accomplish this feat would then forfeit all of their Electoral votes!

That scenario alone would throw the election into chaos. Couple that with the tremendous potential for fraud inherent in mail-in voting and you have a recipe for disaster.

United States Attorney General William Barr addressed the topic of potential voter fraud because of mail-in voting in a pointed and logical manner in an interview with Wolf Blitzer of CNN.

Vigilance at the Polls on November 3rd

A second place where extra vigilance will be needed is at the polling places on election day. That is because the tactics of voter intimidation will likely be deployed at specific locations in key states by the Leftist Democrats.

We can surmise this using evidence from recent past national elections. In 2012, when former President Obama was running for re-election, the presence of the New Black Panthers was noted at various polling locations in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Problems at the polls surfaced early Tuesday in the battleground state of Pennsylvania, with Republican election monitors being turned away from polling places and members of the New Black Panther Party appearing at voting sites in Philadelphia. Pennsylvania Republican officials said 75 election monitors from the party were turned away from polling places in heavily Democratic sections of Philadelphia Tuesday, but a judge has ordered them reinstated. “It certainly raises the question, what are Democrats doing in the polls that they are working so hard to shield folks from monitoring in this election?” state Republican chairman Rob Gleason said in a statement.

Note that the intimidation is twofold. The potential threat of the New Black Panther presence and the turning away of Republicans tasked with monitoring the election.

This tactic was a repeat of a similar incident in the 2008 election. These three members of the same group were charged with voter intimidation, a case that was later dropped by the Obama Department of Justice.

A witness and poll worker at the time offered the following testimony,

A poll watcher who provided an affidavit to prosecutors in the case noted that Bartle Bull, who worked as a civil rights lawyer in the south in the 1960’s and is a former campaign manager for Robert Kennedy, said it was the most blatant form of voter intimidation he had ever seen. In his affidavit, obtained by FOX News, Bull wrote “I watched the two uniformed men confront voters and attempt to intimidate voters. They were positioned in a location that forced every voter to pass in close proximity to them. The weapon was openly displayed and brandished in plain sight of voters.”

2245209899_49ce7e9aab_w (1)It is reasonable to believe that this type of intimidation and perhaps worse will be attempted at many polling locations in November given the political climate in 2020 perhaps with the participation of BLM/Antifa, aka the paramilitary wing of the Democrat party. Therefore, increased levels of security may be necessary to prevent any attempts to influence the individual voter at the time ballots are cast.

Election officials must also ensure the validity of each voter and of the ballots themselves on the day of the election. Ideally, by the end of election night on November 3rd, most key states will have 75 to 90 percent of the in-person votes counted, and around 30 percent of the mail-in/absentee ballots counted.

Should this not occur, and especially if the mail-in votes have a small percentage counted, delays will happen. This will only serve the losing side of this equation, which the Democrats already believe will be their side.

Unwavering Vigilance After the Election

The most likely scenario the Democrats expect is that President Trump will win in a landslide according to the votes counted on election day. Joe Biden will then take Hillary Clinton’s advice and not concede defeat.

The issue will be thrown into the courts in preparation for which the Biden team has already amassed a horde of lawyers. In the meantime, the paramilitary arm of the Democratic Party will stage demonstrations that will devolve into violent riots.

This is not simply speculation by conservative pundits. It is outlined in a piece by the Left-leaning publication “Axios.”

The article puts forth the premise that a substantially larger portion of Democrats will use mail-in voting than Republicans due to COVID-19 fears. Since it may take days or weeks to count those votes, an apparent Trump landslide will be turned into a Biden victory.

This scenario has been deemed ‘The Red Mirage’ and has been featured in stories and videos throughout both the Leftmedia and conservative outlets in recent days.

That is the purpose of working to delay the finality of the election result past November 3rd for as long as possible. If this still doesn’t grant Biden the win, expect court challenges that will push the time limits of Federal election law, as has been noted above.

There must be increased scrutiny on the mail-in balloting process to require adherence to the election laws when they are being counted. Ballots with irregularities, such as late or missing postmarks, must not be counted as valid, no matter who squeals about it.

Finally, I encourage everyone to be vigilant in prayer for this election. The aid of God Himself will definitely be needed if a fair and just election with a minimum of violence is to be accomplished.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. Jeremiah 29:11-12 [ESV]

  1. Wow, scary stuff. We don’t know what the future holds, but we know Who holds the future. I keep reminding myself that none of this surprises God. I am grateful that “our citizenship is in heaven,” and I need to keep doing what He directs and keeping my eyes on Him.
