Why can’t reason sway a Leftist? Why is it that using reasonable speech to counter a Leftist talking-point is met with verbal, and sometimes beyond verbal, attempts to silence you? After much consideration and observation of Leftist behavior, I think I have at least a partial answer.

A very revealing transcript from an internal “town hall” meeting at the New York Times was reported on in the Friday, August 16th, 2019 issue of Newsbusters online. The transcript reveals two Leftist principles combining to become a new and alarming era in the history of the Times and perhaps in mainstream journalism as well.
Thursday, July 4th is America’s annual Independence Day celebration. It is the official yearly commemoration of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, proclaiming to Britain that America was no longer under their sway. The historical basics are fairly well known. We know that the principal author of the Declaration was Thomas Jefferson, and part of the introduction, or preamble, is very well known.
The most serious outside threat to the Christian faith comes within nations where it is legal to practice, but it is generally despised in the popular culture. This situation is common among Western society today and manifests itself in a variety of ways.
The second part of this series began the examination of the modern alliance between the Leftist ‘Christian’ church and Islamofascism by the embracing of both massive Muslim migration globally and of a rising anti-Semitism within the Leftist flock. These churches have relied on a faulty theology which dismisses or reinterprets biblical instruction to fit a “social justice” agenda. This agenda works through a philosophy of ecumenism.
Happy Resurrection Day! Of course, it is more popularly known as ‘Easter,’ but I believe the name ‘Resurrection Day’ is more fitting to the biblical record.
Sunday, April 21, is the date in 2019 that Christians recognize and recall the truth of Jesus’ resurrection from the dead some two millennia ago. However, also each year at this time skeptics rear their critical heads to attempt discrediting this event. Sadly, many of those same critics claim the mantle of teachers within Christianity.
Friday, April 19, 2019, is the annual remembrance of the LORD Jesus Christ’s death on a cruel Roman cross that paid the price for our sin. The crucifixion of Christ was the turning point of all history where God the Father reached out to humanity with the priceless gift of His only Son, Jesus.
Through that sacrifice, we are given the opportunity to come to God and receive His grace and the gift of everlasting life. Yet, the cross is more than the greatest sacrifice; it is a primary example for those who love Christ.
